Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse unmarked

Hello,

I have this WWI era Iron Cross 2nd class, that came to me with a Deumer Iron Cross 2nd Class Spange. The two pieces were displayed together, but entirely unrelated. I am a collector of WWII items, but have some curiosity regarding this little WWI Iron Cross. It is unmarked. It has a lug, for attachment of the jump ring, though it is hard to see in the photos. Interestingly all parts of the cross are magnetic or ferrous, including the jump and ribbon rings and frame. As I am not a WWI collector, I have not been able to identify the maker, if it is known. I would appreciate any imput from the experts on this Iron Cross.

I am pretty sure that your cross is a Deumer.
Here is another from my files to compare against.

Be careful, Imperial crosses can become very addicting.
