    It's a nice original cross. I don't recognize the maker and I am away from
    my files. I will try to look it up later today.

    The silver stamped catch is not someting that I have seen very often.

    I can not find an exact match to this cross however I think it might be
    a possible "Wagner" variation. It is very much like the crosses made by and
    marked S-W, WS, WuS and W&S.

    Beacuse there is no maker's mark (800 is fineness of silver only), I suppose that it is a post-war replacement from 1920's or 30's. But rather 1920's beacuse the manufacturing is very similiar as of the awarded war pieces.
