Very rare WW1 Romanian artillery dagger, model M1892. Most of them were produced by OEWG (the same producer of the Mannlicher's bayonet) but some of them were also produced by P.D. LUNESCHLOSS SOLINGEN having a serial number on the right side of the crosspiece, like the one in our posession. The Romanian Army ordered this dagger from France, after 1916, in this period the producers were ASTIER-PRODON and BOURGADE. This is the only officialy known dagger in use by the Romanian Army during WW1; in some cases was spotted also during wwii
