Very nice. Just got myself a Saxon buckle with leather tap dated 1916. Not as nice as yours with original paint. All these Bavarian variations in design. I didn't know they were so different. Nice to see them next to each other. Well done.

Thanks, yes it is fascinating all the slight variations.
Good work on finding one with the pull tab.
I only have the prussian variety with tabs so well done.
