German dress bayonet. Is it converted, or just a poor example?
Article about: I acquired this dress bayonet recently, and I cannot make my mind up about it. So the question is... is it just a poor example of a dress bayonet, or has it been fashioned into a trench knif

Now I'm not sure if you are referring to the pictures I posted, or maybe you intended posting pictures of your own. But if you are referring to my pictures, I am absolutely amazed you can tell that from the pictures!

My sincere apologies, I had intended that answer for another thread. It was completely incorrect for your item. Your knife does appear to have been made as an above average quality trench knife
