all dated Jan 18 on filter and eye bits..there is also a 1925 stamp in there which gave me conniptions but i guess it could easily have been 1968 batch number they had been well superseded by M18 M24 by then I think..Ill post a pick of case and spare eye bits later when i master this system..

very nice set. very envious as its in great condition. The tin is particularly pleasing. 1925 date could be Reichswehr acceptance stamp following it being checked as routine maintenance IMO. The filter and mask only had a certain shelf life as with all things military. cheers Tony
now I need a deactivated Berthier 3 shot to finish my french display well it will never be quite finished but..
