    Gents,

Here is another recent find in my area that I needed to purchase and add to my Imperial German collection. This is an early folding fork and spoon combination(Essbesteck) with its original soft leather pouch. I'm glad I took a 2nd tour through this antique shop to find this little item tucked away in a dark area of the display case.

Now, there is only one maker's mark stamp and I'm interested to see if it is one that someone can recognize!

Thank you and I look forward to seeing your comments.

    Regards,

    Joel

Can't recognize the stamp but that is a great piece. Never seen a WW1 version before.

    Hello Joel,

these practical field cutlery were part of the field pack in the First World War and were produced between 1910 and 1918. The manufacturer's mark is unknown to me.

It is the first time that I see one including the leather bag that goes with it. Really a great find. Congratulations.

    Best regards
