    Here´s an Armeedolch, manufactured by Jetter & Scherer, Aesculap Werke, Tuttlingen, Württemberg:
    Imperial German Fighting Knife.Imperial German Fighting Knife.Imperial German Fighting Knife.Imperial German Fighting Knife.Imperial German Fighting Knife.
    The Dolch itself isn´t in that good condition, but, it show´s a well preserved makers mark.

    Reibert, thank you for all of the information and photos - you have a great collection!

    I can see that collecting Imperial fighting knives could be a whole new area to explore. I checked my knife today and couldn’t see any acceptance stamps.

    Do you know of any reference books that are dedicated specifically to Imperial German fighting knives?

    Andy, the books Deutsche Kampfmesser (Eugen von Halász) Volume I and Volume II are very informative.

    Also the books from Christian Mèry , for example:
