Iron Cross 2nd Class - Fake or Authentic?

Greetings everyone! I just picked up this Iron Cross 2nd Class today for a really low price. I was curious if you guys think it is authentic. I had read it being magnetized could help. Only the ring loop and ring seem to be magnetized. Anything helps thanks!

Are there any markings on the ribbon ring?
It looks like a cast copy to me.

Ralph is correct, it is a poorly cast fake.

Don't sit on it or hold it too long, it might bend or melt. You got it cheap because it is a cheap cast copy... and a poor one at that.
