Well, its the badge for Army air crews that was awarded in the Summer of 1920. They were struck, not cast, in silver-plated brass.
The badge was designed by P. Meybauer in Berlin. Yours looks like a good one to me. Dwight

I will add that according to Pandis, at the time his book was published, there is no period documentation that Juncker was authorized to produced these awards. Although there are other authors that accept them as original.

Unfortunately, 99.9% of the Airship badges out there are fakes, as is this one. If you study known originals, you will notice the wide variance in construction techniques, as these were almost custom made in many cases, particularly the Navy examples.
