I also own a M18 Si62
I know colours can be subjective due to lighting and so on, but mine has the same outward appearance in photo's.
And even my liner is what some may call a milk chocolate in colour.
There was a discussion on the imperial helmet page regarding the M18 category not to long ago and a note was made showing liner colours.
":To follow up on the liner differences, I have seen two types in the 1918 regular helmet system. More common seems to be the white chrome tanned pads, but some milk chocolate brown examples do appear too. I do not recall seeing anything but chrome tanned pads in ear cutout helmets. I also do not recall seeing grey pads in the 1918 system, BUT, that doesn't mean anything""
Somethings are better seen in hand to get the full picture I guess.
