Hi friends.
A new Hohenzollern & Baden ribbon bar
It´s a nice ribbon bar with a combination of decorations from the House of Hohenzollern (Royal Dynasty of the Kingdom of Prussia and Imperial of Germany) and the Order of the Lion of Zähringer (Zähringer Löwen) from Grand Duchy of Baden.
EK2 1914 + 1910 Cross for Merit of the House Hohenzollern+ Knight´s Cross with Swords of the Order Zähringer Löwen + Hindenburg Cross with Swords.
Wow!! 18,000 views. I never imagined it. Thank you all.
Regards.
Santi

Thanks Greg, Al and other friends.
I will continue to upload images when there is news.

Hello friends. A new ribbon bar for the collection.
It´s formed by the ribbons of Cross 1914 2nd class (EK2 1914) and Saxony Kingdom - Military Service Award (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 II. Klasse (EK2 1914) and Sachsen Königsreich – Militär Dienst auszeichnung)
It´s the ribbon bar of a soldier from the First World War. Distinguished for long service by the Kingdom of Saxony.
It is wide format; although in reality it would be more accurate to say that it is an extra wide format. Each ribbon is three centimeters. The enameled Iron Cross ornament measures 9 mm. wide.
We must think that the width of the ribbons of the standard ribbon bars is 1.5 cm. and the wide-format ones measure 2.5 cm, so it´s truly a quite unusual ribbon bar.
Below I put some photos of the ribbon bar with others of standard width.
The difference is quite remarkable.
Compared with a double ribbon bar (Albrecht Orden with Swords + EKII 1914) 1.5 cm wide each ribbon. Total width 3 cm.
Compared with a triple ribbon bar (EKII 1914 + Saxony Kingdom Military Service Award + Hindenburg Cross) 1.5 cm. wide each ribbon. Total width 4,5 cm.
