My Kaiserreich ribbon bar collection

A few weeks ago I bought this photograph of a veteran Feldwebel with a 3er ribbon bar.

The first: EK2 1914 and the third: Hindenburg Cross are clearly identifiable. In relation to the central ribbon it was only distinguished that it was light in color.

I expected to be able to deduce something when I received the photo, but it turned out to be of a very small size, which does not allow to distinguish or deduce which ribbon it´s.

So I took the opportunity to take my triple ribbonbars from the display case and take a couple of photos.

So everyone choose the ribbonbar they prefer

Great collection!

But I didn't see any ribbon bars from Baltic sea legion / Ostsee-Division. 14000 men who suffered 500 men casualties in Finland.

Those ribbon bars has Finnish Cross of Liberty, 4th Class (VR 4), red ribbon with 2 white stripes. They were given in 1918.

Sometimes in the life of the collector something appears that you have never seen before.

An object with a peculiarity that you didn't even know existed for decades.

But the really strange thing has been to find that different object and, a few days later, another with the same characteristics.

These are two ribbon bars with three ribbons, belonging to two veterans of the First World War; one of them awarded by the Kingdom of Saxony with the Order of Albert. knight Cross 1st class with swords (Sachsen Albrechtsorden Riterkreuz 1. klasse mit Schwertern); and the other, by the Kingdom of Württemberg, awarded with the Silver Military Merit Medal 1892/1918, with Swords (Württemberg Silberne Militärverdienstmedaille or Tapferkeitsmedaille 1892/1918,mit Schwertern)
