Please ID this German pickel haube helmet with a weird spike
Hi folks,
I collect weapons, not helmets. A buddy found this at his father in law garage.
We would like to have some more info on this helmet.
Yep, WW1 German? so far i know but some good detailed info would be nice.
Is it for the Heer, or Navy.
Is it rare?
Is it WW1 or earlier?
Is it a valuable object or just another helmet?

Actually I think that the Helmet is good but has the wrong front plate (wappen) on it.
