One last post for tonight---
when I first joined that other forum in 2003, one of the members visited an old
collector. I've forgotten their names a long time ago but I dis save one of the pictures.

What a great display! Would love to have seen that in person, once in a life time to see six PLM together!!!

Take a look at this one which has the lighter blue.
A nice light blue color. Not an issued piece. Who is the maker? What period of manufacture?
I'm not qualified however to confirm if the piece is original but will assume that it is. My guess is that it is a Post WW1 wearers copy?

Thanks, it has a W on the bottom and numbers on the opposite side but it is hard to tell. Will see if I can get more pictures. Thanks again. Really like the light blue!
