    Here is a new cross for me.
    Iron cross made by the firm of Schauerte & Hohfeld of Ludenscheid.
    I had never heard of this make before I saw the L54 mark on the reverse.
    I needed to do some quick research to find the maker and then a lot of digging
    to try and find another example that I could compare against to make sure I was
    not bidding on a fake.

    This is my first LDO marked cross. I have seen the typical overpriced St-L crosses
    and could not bring myself to buy one. This one was a ebay sleeper.
