Unknown medal/ pin "Erin̄erung a.d. Feldzug 1914-15."

Fount this bar/pin a large (300 Lb) lot of what was mostly junk jewelry. It is inscribed "Erin̄erung a.d. Feldzug 1914-15." which from my understanding through a little googling may translate to remembrance (of the) campaign 1914-15. Front has an interesting little design with oak leaves and what appear to be two stars. Also has a small ring at the base which I assume attached to some sort of medal. Wondering if anyone has seen anything like it, or can confirm/ disprove my translation. Any information welcome. Pictures attached, along with a few of German solders posing by sighs that say "Erinnerung Feldzug".

Your translation is correct, in remembrance of the 1914-15 campaign. It looks as though it was made using a piece of drive band from a shell, but I might be wrong.
