I would say all showed in these pics is 100% original.
The 1st cross is not so rare but just not easy to find, one like this was sold by C. Baldes (to someone fastest than me) yesterday,
I have seen another one in the last show in Germany I visited (October 2010).
The second one is a nice EKI manufactured during the WWI in an original late war LDO case, called Halbetui.
gerrit, this should be in the imperial sub forum, there is a great "sticky" thread entitled "Imperial EKs", see here https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/imper...rial-eks-8822/ where another Godet "Fangs" EK I is shown and discussed on this thread, and I am sure some of the guys there will be more than willing to help you out. I'll see if I can get it moved, I am sure Adrian wouldnt mind.
Prost ! Steve.
Guys Thx for the replies, i've seen the thread now, and also seen the same godet as you mentioned
sorry that i didn't post it in the right place.
Feel free to put it at the right spot.
Thx both for your comments
Both crosses are very nice originals. The Godet is not real "RARE" but it is a very sought
after varient. I don't believe that the cased cross is original to the case and i can not
comment on the authenticity of the case. I have no usefull experience with TR era cases.
I think with better close up shots of the cased cross, we might be able to identify the maker.
