Here is a stick pin that is similar,
I posted it years ago on another forum and was told it was a ww1 Hussar's skull
but no one offered any specific details.

That is a nice pin ! I have a similar design stickpin but mine is tiny, almost microscopic. It looks small even next to the tiny Prussian pin
