    Non smokers version of the 1914 Princess Mary Tin Christmas Fund tin, came with a khaki Writing wallet.

    Inside there were two compartments, the front contained 2 packs of envelopes, and the rear had the writing pad and guide line sheet.

    A pencil was attached to a loop on the side of the writing pad.

    This one is in great condition, the press stud is in good working order.

    The front of the wallet has a clear crown and Mary monogram.

    I'm sure the troops who received this stationary wallet, would have cherished it.

    Probably the only way to send news back home..

    These fetch astounding prices these days seeming to be around the three hundred pound mark. Makes me wish I'd kept the two sets I bought in the 80s for a tenner each and the empty case that was £2. Back then nobody was bothered. You live and learn!

    Yes, over thirty years ago, I'm sure you could have got a few decent ones and made a good profit on them now..
