I'm going to have to look at this at work using my Guberment PC. I'm on my chromebook and the save a zoom features I am just not used to.
It MIGHT be Made by Pulford & Co. on St.JAMESS ST London.
This was just a quick check.
But I'll have more time and resources when I'm at work. There are 8 different makers using the six pointed star with that type of leafing around it with the Fleur de Lys below PROVED - Brass and I'll have to zoom in on them better to make my final call.
I'll get back with you Chris.

Thanks Phil, if you need a better photo or anything I could post one.
And I appreciate the help. The sword is a family piece.
You are quite welcome Chris. It being a family piece will make this research a tad bit better satisfaction for you and myself.
Why don't you open a new thread and post so pic's of this family heirloom.
What I am seeing is either Infantry or cavalry model 1827??? So showing what it is and with the sword experts input I should be able to narrow it down.
Also send me a PM with an email addy so I can send you some pic's of what I'm seeing and if you agree with it.
