Britsh or Canadian Trench Mace 1918

Hi everyone,

Just arrived. A trench mace dated 1918. A gruesome weapon that illustrates the brutality of trench warefare and war in general. It should be an original as I bought it from a highly respected dealer. I try to find the unit that used this one. It is stamped 22th LOYAL R-T 1918 completed with the broad arrow. it's in decent and solid shape even after the woodworms took a go on it.
I can't find a 22th LOYAL division in the Britsh Army. They only get to 21th.

Maybe it's Canadian. Who can help with this one???
