Can anyone make out the ship’s name on this sailor’s cap tally?
I’ve been attempting to research a real photo postcard from WW1 but am having trouble deciphering the name of this sailor’s ship. He’s probably British, as the photo was taken in the U.K., but he could be Canadian as the postcard was found in Canada. Perhaps a member might recognize the name on the cap tally? I believe I can make out -EDMORE- but have not been successful in linking this to a ship or shore station.
