G'day Grant, I'll have a look for you mate but it may take several days, it's a very big book. If they are mentioned I will be able to tell you word for word what answers they gave to the questions they were asked. I'll do my best mate.

I did not comment on the items when last I posted on this thread, but they are superb and what wonderful survivors from this early period and all with family history. Very hard to beat that I think.

The slouch hat is divine and would command an absolute fortune if ever for sale.

The water canteen is really cool, I have one of this type, though my example is missing the cover and the stopper attachment. Mine is a private purchase example and has the buff/off white leather straps which are unit marked. They are both of the Waterbottle MKIV pattern introduced in 1895 from a LoC dated May 31st 1895.
