Peaked Cap Original?

Hello everyone!
I cant tell if this cap is an original in a near mint condition, or a repro. I do have some suspicions about it as it looks almost too new, but I really dont know for certain. Could it possibly be an authentic cap from a much later era?

Please Note: I currently know nearly nothing about these types of caps but hope to learn more. I also do not have it in hand, so I am going by the same photos I've added here.

Any help/information would be greatly appreciated!
