I got this from the Regimental Depot in 1989. Does anyone know what pattern / model this is and from what period? Are the buttons and badges available? Regards, Steve T

Its a 1906 pattern bandsman's tunic. Probably dating from ww1 period. Royal welsh fusiliers tunics had the removable green ceremonial 'shoulder wings'. so you will need to get a pair of those as well. Buttons and insigna are available on ebay sometimes. I have a victorian sidecap to this regiment that is dark blue with red crown piping and a red felt backed flaming bomb badge.
Thanks for the info..i forgot all about the 'wings' on these tunics. Do you know what the year code is for this one?
Regards,
Steve
I have a grenadier guards tunic dated 1912 on the paper label and the WD stamp code is C. Not sure but that may make your B stamp 1911 date by my reasoning.
I like your logic. 1911 it is then! Thanks
