I have seen these markings on another site years ago. I think it is a french 37MM or also know as a 1 pounder.
I will have to search to see if I can find it again.
It is a very detailed and talented piece of workmanship for US trench art.
I'm sure one of the Arty experts will be along soon to let you know exactly it is that you have.
