In all respect Chris, I think Methmann was the producer and his brand was Nordmark. There is his entry in the Flensburg-addressbook of 1927 stating Methmann as Hut- und Mützenfabrik (hat and cap factory). The entries above his one are interesting as well as they say "Methmann Christine, widow, owner of the firm Friedr. Methmann" so she must have owned the firm in 1927, then there is "Diedrich Methmann, Kürschnermeister (furrier)" with the same address than the firm - so he will have been the real cap maker.by stonemint

I checked the RZM list, and he had license # A2/172
(RZM list gives the same address)--Holmstr 43)
