Assistance with this ?pattern i Kreigsmarine Pith Helmet

Dear All,

It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some comment on this pith helmet. When I scan the web I don't see any genuine helmets with this liner system or indeed without the posterior vertical strip on the band. Would be very grateful for any comments or observations. Thank you again.

You should really start a new thread. While I've never seen this liner system before, the rest of the Pith and the construction look fine. Even the chin strap clips (bales?) are typical of others I've seen.
