Display heads!!

Article about: Took these 3 heads home with me from a antique shop in Germany.. The lady in the shop claimed they were from the thirties.. Excellent for displaying headgear or taking pictures of a visor..

Great display heads. The only thing I would caution is when the plaster ones paint starts to break down naturally. I would not put a soft sweatband on it without a cloth protection or some clear wrap over the top of the display head, as the slow process may eventually bleed or tarnish the sweatband with the gasses it will release.

Nice finds. Agree with Morris. Cover the head with cotton. I find the sleeve of on old tee shirt usually fits nice and tight when stretched out and you can position it so that it can't be seen.

The one on the bottom right looks like one in the period photo!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

No worries, all my cloth headgear are sealed and protected in plastic bags when not out for photos
But thank you for your concern.
