Freedom, nice cap--these M-41 red-tops are hard to find.
Also, a lot of these had chincords added to them postwar, and this one has survived that fate.
All you need is a gilt state eagle and cockade and it will look just like it did back in 1943.

Only pic I know of one of these in wear:
Not a picture of the visor; he's holding his but it seems to be a regular color. Nice close-up of what I believe is the white uniform, though!
Interesting to note is aswell that the officer in the middle does not seem to have the insignia of the large wings on his cap but his lower-ranking friend off to the right does. Wether this was right or wrong, I do not know.

Can't contribute to the photo above, but found his site: Reichsbahnuniformen 1937-1945 - bahnschutz-uniformen with IMO some very interesting (white) visor caps and valuable info on Reichsbahn.

    Hello.
I bought a railwayman's hat. Will you suggest something more?
    What years does it cover?
It has 2 buttons - should it have a cord? What color?
    I have an eagle.

It was worn 1935-1941. It could have had any of the 3 chincords on it.
