    Default German Artillery cap/visor

    Hello everyone,

Looked at this visor the other day. Looks like a good one, but I'm not an expert or had one in my collection. Seems to match ones I've seen online with texture on black leather, number and label clear insert.

    Thanks for looking

It looks like a very nice near mint EM/NCO Artillery contract visor but not a crusher. Can you please post some under the hood photos if possible, thanks.

I am with Bill, nice original cap, no "crusher" contrary to what the tag says. Unfortunately mothbitten on either side of the front seam of the side-panels along the top seam.

Thank you for the help. The condition made me question it, but it must be a unused/not worn. Definitely a shame about the moth damage

If the price is right, GRAB IT!, that's a nice hat to start with, visors are getting more and more expensive even contract visors like this one

If it's UK pounds and from a shop then it's priced right in my opinion.
If you bought from abroad you will have to pay shipping and any customs duty so I consider it to be a reasonable price.
I've seen poorer examples being offered for more so I'd have no problem paying £350 for it. The moth damage doesn't detract too much.
You can always offer a lower price face to face and see if haggling gets you a deal. Go in at £300 and see what happens.
