Article about: by stonemint Arran pointed out that the CGM visor is not the Swearingen visor (which I thought it was). While I have been aware of the Swearingen visor for a long time, I was only tangential

    Obviously Kujau didn't know/have access to detailed pictures of the real ones - visor, piping, badges are far from the originals (provided these are original).

    Is this the cap he wore the day of the the 20 july 1944 plot? Though a colourized photo still very enligthtening.

    It sure illustrates how thick that upper row of gold twist cord piping is! Compare it with the chin cord...

    That's an interesting photo of the cap in #63, it's certainly sustained cord damage, so it may be from the bomb blast if the photo was taken post 20 July 1944. If it is, where is this distinctive damaged cap now?
