Default HJ Leaders hat for identification

    Hi all,

I got this hat offered, to me as a novice in headgear it looks good, also the RZM marker 4 would be OK. It looks to be either Flieger or Oberbann 4 according to the light blue piping. What is your opinion on it?

In my opinion, this is a nice HJ leader's visor cap that doesn't look too bad. Eagle was probably replaced. Piping looks white on my screen. However, stonemint and other users will give you a definite answer!

    Best of luck.

    Regards,

    MG.

Thanks for the first opinion. As I said, it looks good to me, but I want to be sure.

What rank would that hat be for? I cannot find any information on it in my books right now...

Yours looks like the one in post number 7 in this thread. A middle-ranks Flieger HJ visor. The blue piping in yours seems to have faded over time, becoming almost grey. Hopefully stonemint drops by soon and sheds some light on this visor.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    MG.

I just realized he added your cap as an example in that thread. Take a look at it.

MG is correct--you have an original Flieger-HJ company-grade leaders visor by Clemens Wagner....
