It had a piece of paper under the sweatband and I will translate it later.

Pat, basically the note is a notice for a gathering to honor a war veteran, Wilhelm Lehrmann, who passed away recently. He had been a member of the Kriegerkameradschaft (veteran's association?) for almost 40 years. HPL/Andreas will translate it faster (and perhaps better) I gather, I am busy with something right now, Pat if not I would translate it all for you.

Re: My DAF Visor cap
Congratulations on your first cap. My first buy was a veterans cap I seem to remember. Take note it's a slippery slope !!!

Hello,
This arrived today, I tried so hard not to open it and save it for christmas but my curiosity got the better of me and I oppened it.
I was pleasently surprised.....!
Its my first cap...!
It had a piece of paper under the sweatband and I will translate it later.
It was giving to me from Ben so I am delighted to have a nice starter cap that I can use my money to buy the insignia.
Thanks all and many more to come, Hopefully.
Happy Regards
