    Really impossible to say either way. Are there pictures of him wearing this not uncommon conversion of Heer to SS overseas cap?

    Hi Arran, have a look a the link Chris provided. There is a small photo of him wearing a Heer pattern cap, but impossible to say that this is the very same one.

    Overall, I like it. The parts are original.

    What the POA price is, I don't know...

    Overall I like it too. If I could see that the skull was deeply impressed and the material behind it clean and unfaded, I would feel confident with it...

    I suppose with these type of pick ups you have to go by ….
    If the Story that goes with it is genuine and feasible.
    Gather as much expertise information as possible.
    And does your gut feeling tell you it’s right.
    Other than that it’s quite a pick up.
