Mix of headgear:

three questions- why did they not use an ADLER on there tunic's and were combat awards won be fore in another branch of service and carried over. example- the RAD OFFICER with 4 TANK DESTRUCTION BADGES on his rite arm? and why would they go from a combat group down to a RAD, group of service?

Breaking the rules, but rare to see a RAD lad decorated with the EK2:

I have a set of documents where an EK2 is awarded to a RAD member , late war though.

Awards were carried over from previous service and also won whilst in RAD service.

Schwerpunkt, nice photograph and documents, Arbeitsgau XXI Niederrhein, Gruppe Munstereifel/ Euskirchen, Abt. 5/216 Tondorf-Stutz, there may be some info as to any Emsland / Westwall afiliation, but I would have to dig a bit deeper in my files..
