SA Kepi Ostmark

I need assistance in authenticating this Kepi. This is a new area for me and I'm not well versed in the characteristics. It seems fine except for maybe Edelweiss rhombus being crudely stitched. The gray sweatband is also something I've not seen on the forum threads. It has an rzm label for an Austrian maker 1501. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Al, good one by J. & F. Littomericzky (Litto).
Rhomboid is rather crudely sewn on compared to most others.

Looks to be in very nice condition. They probably were probably at the beer hall when the sewed the Rhomboid on. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Tim, I just bought it. I couldn't resist an iconic cap like this. It was time to get some SA representation in the collection.

Yes they are really good looking with all the colors and rare. I don't have any. But yet is the key word.

I love these SA Kepis. I've got two of them, Gruppe Nordmark and Hochland. But I prefer the early ones with the first pattern Eagle.

Yes I would love to add some more in the future. I have many of those first pattern loose eagles in my collection but would love an original early Kepi sporting one.

I love the style of the first pattern Kepis. They're more like 'Kampfzeit'
