There are more than a few high-end fakes in the DeFilippi book.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
The white-top was bad, as was the Panzer (& both are still floating around to this day, 44 years since the book was published....)
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
The Bishop visor is also a high-end fake (whoever owns it today undoubtedly believes its and original, "because its in the book"):
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
