I've never had any Overhoff & Cie TK to examine and inspect in hand, But i don't think this is a real one. The casting flaws are a dead give away.. I can't comment on the eagle.

Members like Aldo & Carlsson and a few others can give you a definitive answer!

Skull is a copy of an Overhoff and you can see the outline of where the original TK was affixed.

Wow Aldo, many thanks, I didn't realize the shadow of the old skull was there...Does it means something about the originality of the visor itself?

No, it just means the original skull was removed. Many SS caps have replacement insignia. I feel that as long as the insignia is authentic and appropriate for the cap it's fine. In this case though it's fake so even if the cap turns out to be real you're looking at added expense to replace them

I am also still having issues with getting past the blue cotton lining.
SS Officer visors (even late war) used rayon.
The short sweatband and lining remind me of the Richter series of fakes (I am not saying the SS visor is one of them):

There's one with similar blue lining currently for sale at Weitze.

Just happened to find this one: My first Heer Infantry Officer Schirmmütze.

The way the lining is sewn in, is, however, completely different.

The pattern of the Tricot fabric on the front is not aligned in the usual manner. Left of the seam (looking at the cap) the pattern should run vertically. The right of the seam should run up at approx a 45 degree (or a bit less) of an angle.
