Does anyone know when the manufacturer stopped using the plain "Alkero" Logo...and when they began applying the "Albert Kempf KG" Logo encountered on Postwar Caps?
That would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated...
regards, Glenn

This might have happened in the late 1960ies when they moved from Wuppertal-Ronsdorf to Ödmiesbach. They could have become a K. G. = Kommanditgesellschaft (private limited partnership) about then.
For their history see here: Unternehmen - Albert Kempf GmbH u. Co. KG Mutzenfabrik
I have to correct myself: according to the addressbooks of Wuppertal they changed from "Hüte- und Mützenfabrik" to "Hüte- und Mützenfabrik K.G." already from 1958 to 1959.
