A couple more items to throw in here.
Egyptian enlisted mans beret, not in great condition but the fist one I've come across. No badge which is normal, NCOs and above a badges.
The beret is a large size, similar to the early British berets, the same type was used for the the 1940s through the 1960s. The plastic liner protector would be a later detail.
Jordan Arab Army agal, it's really hard to be sure what period these come from but I'm confident this is a good original piece taken in the Six Day War.
The tassel on the back (I'm sure there is a more correct term) has very distinct weaving pattern and form, this one matches the example in the Imperial War Museum.
It is definitely made from goat hair and the badge, brass used from 1956, has been on there a long time.
It came from Israel with shoulder slides of the 10th battalion and a Jordanian national flag.
