I missed out on a RAN blue camo jacket at a surplus store in Halifax.
I just couldn't buy blue camouflage, just too much green stuff around.
It's more of an ugly sea weed camo in my opinion.

It reminded me of Blueberry Vomit so I couldn't buy it, if it was standard green pattern I would have bought it.

'talking of Blueberry, here's a recent pick up which I believe to be Ugandan Presidential Guard. According to the web, they copied (allegedly) the USN pattern, left off the USN badge imprint and added a bit of brown...according to the Internet anyway.....

Croatian Army (HV) patched Jacket most likely from the 1990's period, Green tiger stripe was first introduced in the early 90's for Yugoslavian forces but i think it would be uncommon to be seen in use by Croatia ,the helmet covers are selection of the types used by Croatia up to present Day and the lighter green tiger stripe would be for Serbian Federal Police Camo BitsCamo BitsCamo BitsCamo BitsCamo Bits

    Finally scored a RAN shirt
Badged him up as Fritz Manno (my 1st mannequin's name) from a maker of RAN patches, the Watchkeeper patch doesn't belong but it looks good as a filler!

'got this one in a batch.....sadly the zip's bust (tho there's velcro too to hold it shut)...and it's a tad too small for me.....'shame 'cos one look at my build screams "Royal Marine Commando"......sadly it actually screams "Two Royal Marine Commandos"!!

....soon every army will be MTP/OCP/Multicam/whatever!....which is good news for us as as long as they all use Velcro-backed badges.....one Mannequin, one jacket, huge collection of badges....'see where I'm going here????
