LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
So would this be considered rare? Or is it a print? Is there a ballpark time period that this may have been taken, and is this a military uniform? Can anyone elaborate on the time he served, and can anyone verify 100% who it is? I'm looking to collect as much information as possible. Please enlighten me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Through Google images I am unable to source a picture the same as this which makes me think it is rare, but what does the vandyk mean? Is that the photographer? I see a few old photos similar to this with the same mark.
I would not use google image finder to judge how rare its, it's a nice photo btw.
I'm 110% positive of who this is. He served in WWI,
and yes, 'Vandyke' is the photographer. ( King
Edward VIII's abdication is very well known
- one of the biggest 'scandals' of the
20th Century. )
Could be an authentic photo. Minimal research
would have to be carried out to know if it's
his actual signature or not.........
He's also known as the Duke of Windsor.

Steve.
