Today has been a day of sharing some nice collections, so I figure I might as well show
some of mine as it currently looks - - - quite a jumble ! !
Photos aren't that great..........

Another shelf........................Whole thing could use a re-vamp one day ! !
Oh yeah, and the '42 Willys......
ooohh Steve, Your Jeep is much cleaner than mine! has it a Willys motor? Hope it has.
My Jeep is a bitsa as it was put together in Queensland from parts during the war, to serve our mop up operations Borneo etc.
Your collection is much neater than mine! All of my cutlery I keep in my former gun safe!
I'm most impressed
Thanks Buddy, Love it.

Thanks, Rene,
It has a later Willys CJ-2A motor ! She also sports a hand-built tub,
as the original was rusted out. Hood, fenders, grille, cowl with dashboard
and firewall, windshield frame, front seat frames are period. Even has a
nicely refinished 1942 dated gas can in back that was given me by a friends
father who found it in the local dump !
I put up a thread about it with a few more photos in the "vehicles" section.
Always seem to have mechanical/electrical problems though,
so I need to dump a wad of cash into her one day.......
Cost me a bundle to begin with ! !
I played lead guitar and sang backing vocals in a couple of bands
over a 15 year period, and had a bit of cash saved up and.............
Regards,
Steve.
Nice shot this past summer at the local museum........
Made all the time, money and effort worth it during the very first parade
I drove her in, which was May 8th 2005 - the 60th anniversary of VE day
in downtown Toronto ! ! !
It's truly a real honor to do this for them, although even at their age now,
some would still rather "march" in these parades.............
Best,
Steve.
Rene, Try the search for thread: "Willys MB 1942" ......
It's there near the bottom of the list..........
Steve.
