Just mounted the kit on a mannequin...everything is period, all dated 1942 or before apart from the shirt & tie and the cap they are repro. Pith helmet is dated 1940 marked Vero & Co.

Very cool. What about the mannequin? I like the ones without a face, attracts more to the kit.
it's a mannequin a friend of mine gave me, in polystyrene covered in a black flock like material, it fitted the tunic perfectly.

nice setup. I think it's great when the uniforms are presented together with all of the field equipment worn by the soldiers. So you have a much better impression of how it was back then than if you just see the uniform.
