Time to hunt some more awards again
Todays catch.... a great wonderful specimen produced by JFS
Panzerkampfabzeichen II Stufe ("25")
The price was higher than I wanted, but just "had to have" and Quality costs.
Some of you sitting with reference to how many of this type that was awarded ?
Hope you like it !

Superb finish on a rare Panzer badge! Definitely the best that I've seen!

Me too!
Hi Jørn,
I wonder if you know about the digging in Karelen? I'm referring to the two hills Hasselmann and Kaprolat where some odd 150 Norwegian Waffen SS Skijägers were killed - and if some have found any "Frontkämpfer Badges or pins"?
My finances doesn't allow me, alas, to travel to Russia or Karelen to look or search for myself.
Perhaps there are others who are reading this that can answer?
Thanks a lot and good luck in collecting beautiful items from WWII.
Regards,
Twinvirgo.
Have not been there myself, but know that there are many objects found after Norwegian SS-soldiers. There are some interesting threads on the subject here on the forum. Let's hope others can help you with more info.
Some weapons-related objects found in Norwegian soil too, but mostly after the German capitulation in 1945.
...... and some equipment from the Norwegian Viking era
