Update this post, here is a pair of Belgium Brush stroke trousers, these are fairly fairly faded but the brush stroke pattern is still quite clear. As can be seen from the label they are dated 1956, and are the type worn by Belgium paratroopers in Operation DRAGON ROUGE, RED DRAGON in English, was one of the most dramatic military missions undertaken during the Cold War. It involved a flight of more than 4,000 miles by USAF C-130s carrying paratroopers of the crack Belgian 1st ParaCommando to rescue hostages who had been held for more than three months in the Congolese city of Stanleyville.
