A French skull; "CROIX DE FEU", I just got in.
This buttonhole badge of the fire crosses manufactured by Arthus Bertrand Paris is all metal 3 colors 14 mm high. It is in relief. Manufacturer's name and address engraved on the buttonhole.
The association of Croix-de-Feu, or Association of front fighters and war wounded cited for brilliant action (1927-1936) is at the origin of a movement of French veterans which is then transformed in political organization. It is headed by Colonel François de La Rocque. The association was dissolved in 1936 by the Popular Front government and replaced by the French Social Party.
