Cheers Bodhi, I do miss the jacket as it was a huge size! but I got a really super good trade for it. Still have a couple of other wool one's of the later period to keep me happy. Plus I have many more pics of the set up but I kind of feel uncomfortable posting more as I don't own the tunic anymore so it shows mostly my kit there.

Finally managed to get my hands on a good belt, it’s worn but it will do the trick. It’s dated 1935 and nicely marked to the 13th infantry, regiment 58 (hopefully I read that right).

I’ll post some new pictures when I get my hands on it.

I finally got a nice frog to complete my bayonet and the belt has arrived. Frog is still supple and great condition but has some light wear damage, stamp is nearly impossible to read but date and location are eligible. Still a very long ways to go but I’m getting there slowly.

Very nice belt. Love the markings. It's the 13th Company of Infantry Regiment 58. That regiment was part of the 6th Infantry Division which was a quite storied division and if I remember correctly (bit of a gamble these days), it was the division of Heinrich Haape, the author of "Moscow Tram Stop".

That’s the plan! Don’t own a mannequin yet but soon when I’ve got internal support straps and a good tornister I’ll get it up even though it’s not done and see where I’m at.
